The World Giving Index report (WGI) was made by initiative of the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), and aims to measure rates of generosity of nations. This count has been ongoing since 2005 through surveys in which explores the philanthropic activities of the inhabitants of different countries, not by the amount of money contributed, but the percentage of the population seeking help his fellow selflessly.
So an index that allows comparison between nations, regardless of economic or historical moment that pass is achieved. In the report this year was rated the generosity of three actions:

Donation of money
